Sarah James

Sarah began dancing at the age of 9 in a small country town on the Mid North Coast.
From her first trial class, she instantly fell in love with dance and the feelings of freedom, creativity and expression certainly ignited her passion for dancing.
During this time, she participated in all genres of dance and was provided with many performance opportunities such as local eisteddfods, competitions, masterclasses and workshops including The Australian Dance Festival, where she learnt from many industry professionals along the way. While dancing at PMPA, Miss Sarah got the opportunity to be a part of the Ambassadors of Dance Program. She saw dance as something more than a sport - it was her livelihood!
At age 15, Miss Sarah's whole world was suddenly paused with a unexpected incident that put a hold to her dancing career. After months of rehabilitation, ongoing treatments and appointments, 6 years later Miss Sarah decided to come back to PMPA where her love for dance will never die.
